The AKO direct air operated pinch valves are designed
for control and ON/OFF applications, and are especially
suited for abrasive, corrosive and fibrous materials and
slurries. Many times a standard ball, plug or gate valve
will not or can not provide satisfactory operation and
life expectancy and pinch valves will outperform them.
However, pinch valves are also not the all-inclusive answer
to all valve problems and each application deserves it’s
